ProjectCSGirls Fremont is a chapter of ProjectCSGirls, a national hackathon-style competition for girls in middle school, who use technology to create solutions in the fields of global health, a safer world, intelligent technology, and bridging inequalities. The organization was founded in 2013 by Pooja Chandrashekar, who realized she was one of 3 girls in her AP Computer Science class freshman year. Now, ProjectCSGirls has reached 10,000 girls across 9 countries, and continues to support innovation, passion, and curiosity for girls in tech.

At ProjectCSGirls Fremont, we're creating a community of girls excited about computer science. We aim to introduce a variety of technology to girls, and we support all levels of experience. Through our hands-on activities, girls become problem-solvers and innovators, ready to take on whatever challenge is presented to them.
